Residential care
Bosworth Farm is a small service, it was established nine years ago and has successfully provided care for a variety of residents. We are registered for up to five residents. All bedrooms are spacious and have a double bed, wardrobe, set of drawers and a cosy chair.
There are lots of calm areas to access, we have two large sitting rooms, providing choice, one of which is a multi-sensory area. The home sits on an acre of land which provides lots of space to explore, chill out, play games, enjoy the trampoline and spa pool, learn new skills such as gardening and horticulture.
The kitchen is the hub of the house, where we encourage individuals to develop skills by making snacks and drinks. We support people to menu plan, help with meal preparation and washing dishes. All our food is home made.
We are experienced in developing independent living skills and encourage help and involvement in a range of simple household tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, food shopping and meal preparation. The staff team are well trained, established and consistent. The continuity and consistency help to establish relationships and deliver a timetable of activities, to provide routine and structure, providing choice and variety. Staff have a variety of approaches to prompt, encourage and engage with individuals. We would be able to support regular family contact. Shelford has a village pub and good local facilities and places of interest to visit, including a range of cafes, restaurants, pubs, country parks and riverside walks.
