Respite care
We are presently full with residents, so unable to provide respite care at the moment.
I am sorry for any inconvenience caused and will update if our situation changes in the future.
Planned care:
We support people through respite that usually live at home and have planned stays away from the family home. This can be beneficial to families who may need a break or for individuals who like to have a few days in a different setting to develop their skills and grow in confidence. These stays are usually planned in advance which gives families chance to utilise their free time. We can provide planned respite care for as short as 24 hours or as long as 2 weeks (longer can be facilitated with advance notice).
Emergency care:
We are able to support individuals in need of emergency care, this may be as a result of tensions at home or needing to find a bed at short notice. We assess individuals and speak with social workers to get a full picture of the individual's needs, this helps us to make sure people feel settled and able to cope in unfamiliar and often stressful situations.
Short term care:
Short term care is for people needing support between 2 weeks and 6 months, this may be while they wait for a supported living home to become available or to help them build up skills.
Ground floor room available upon request.
